Description: This Listing. Heavy Antique Solid Silver Pocket Watch. 1902. A.Yewdall. Leeds. Running with Key. Size 56.5 mm. 161 grams. A heavy sterling silver case. Chester Hallmark for 1902 with strong gold hinges and firm pendent bail, every piece is hallmarked. Pendent button releases the rear lid which opens to 90 degrees. The case has a makers mark for A.Yewdall. Evenly distributed medium pocket wear, age patina has not been polished out.The English Lever movement is signed for A.Yewdall, Leeds on the movement backplate. The movement is complete and in a good clean condition, it is key wind and set and the key is with it. It is winding and running well.The ivory double sunk enamel dial is in a fair to good cosmetic condition. A little bit dirty with a hairline through the centre and edge chipped at the seconds dial. The hands are whip and spade faded gold gilt and the dial has Roman numerals. Please remember this is circa 122 years old, a quality antique working timepiece. Diameter: 56.5 mm.
