Description: Hazardous Duty: An American Soldier in the Twentieth Century, by Major General John K. Singlaub. 1991, Summit Books, New York. A combat veteran of three wars, Singlaub was one of the most controversial military men of the latter 20th century. His forced retirement during the Carter administration did little to slow down his anti-communist activities. Indeed, he later did things that he would have probably been unable to do had he remained in the Army. Singlaub died in 2022 at age 100. Full number line. SIGNED by author on first title page. Very good condition - mild wear to dust jacket. Some stains on the dark-colored flyleaf. I'll try to capture them in the photos. Free shipping via Media Mail. Thanks for looking!
