These also fit Model Die Casting (MDC/Roundhouse) Thrall HI-SIDE gondolas as the ATHEARN cars are made from the same tooling. These types of loads are seen throughout the USA these days as railroads move a variety of materials around the country. Often there is contaminated dirt or other materials susceptible to wind dispersion under the tarps. This LIMITED PRODUCTION Cast Resin load features that "Loose Material" look and is hand-made and hand finished in the USA as HAY BROTHERS part number 5502-37. There are 3 different molds (profiles) used to make this load (please see photos) and the different colors are packaged and shipped randomly. Different colors include, but are not limited to: (Blue, Olive Drab Green, White, Tan, Khaki and Orange to name a few - the different colors are shipped randomly, or you can ask for currently available colors before buying). Because it is hand-made, there may be slight top profile and finishing variances between loads of the same part number. Please note that the load offered in this listing is designed and machined to fit the N-Scale Athearn (Former Model Die Casting / Roundhouse) Thrall HI-SIDE Gondola Cars ONLY. It DOES NOT fit similar cars offered by other manufacturers.
