Description: Offered is this charming porcelain china cheese tray and cover, decorated with hand painted purple flowers and a honey bee. The white blank was made by Charles Field Haviland, one of the branches of the French Haviland family. It dates to the early 1900s. The lid to the cheese tray measures 5.75 inches in diameter at the bottom opening. It measures about 5 inches tall to the top of the finial. The bottom plate measure 8 inches in diameter (22 cm). Gold trim decorates the rim of the tray and the finial and base of the lid. Good condition for its years. There is a tight hairline on the rim of the bottom tray which we have pictured.
