Description: OK I know I took liberties with using "Haskell" in a listing for a plastic fused bead necklace, but look at that clasp. Layers of gold tone flowers & leaves, set with black elements and sparkly rhinestones. It is a push in type and works properly. The necklace as 6 strands that each have 3 shapes pointy discs, cylinders and spiral twists, so this was definitely higher end for a this type of necklace. At 36" it can be worn long, or doubled as a choker. This is from my collection of "plastic fused beads" necklaces from the mid 20th century. These look like beaded necklaces, but the plastic "beads" have no holes, they are fused right onto the string. They were a fun way to afford a bright and colorful piece of jewelry. They are made from a basic inexpensive plastic, and the process does leave seams and little stubs sometimes from the molding process.
