Description: This is a rare July 28th, 1930 programme (playbill) from the one-week, Provincial Tour engagement of the GUY BOLTON, FRED THOMPSON, BERT KALMAR and HARRY RUBY musical comedy "THE FIVE (5) O'CLOCK GIRL" at the Prince of Wales Theatre in Birmingham, England. (The Original Broadway production opened October 10th, 1927 at New York's 44th Street Theatre and closed June 2nd, 1928 after 280 performances. The Original West End production opened March 21st, 1929 at the London Hippodrome and ran for 122 performances before going on the road.) ..... The musical starred SCOTT HARROLD as "Gerald Brooks" and JEAN ADRIENNE as "Patricia Brown" and the cast included CON RICH, DOROTHY HERSEE, GUY NORTH, STEPHEN FRAYNE, SYBIL STEVENS, ALBERT H. CONDITION: (Please Note!) There are rust marks at the staple, a tiny puncture in the top left corner and minor edge wear. Despite these flaws, this rare playbill will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
