Description: This is a cover from Harper’s Bazar newspaper magazine from over 149 years ago. The date is January 8, 1981. And the Artist is Thomas Nast. The title of the cover is called “Reciprocation” and features the adorable scene of children setting out candy for Santa Claus at this beautiful fireplace and mantle while their mother looks on. The little boy is giddy with excitement! The quote at the bottom of the page reads “Won’t Santa Claus be surprised to find that he has not been forgotten!” This Harper’s Bazar cover is labeled as Vol XIV - No. 2. It has been safely tucked away for years and is in very good condition. There is a two inch cranberry red border around the cover. And there is a hanger attached to the back. There are a few very slight stains under the Thomas Nast signature. I did photos this so please look carefully at the photos for the best idea of condition. Please see all of the photos. Enjoy this beautiful piece. And thank you for taking a look.
