Each figure in this series has a back story, and Justine's story is that she loves to recite poems and sing in cafes, mostly those titles popular with sailors. Her voice is coarse, but her ready wit gets her by. All things amusing and wonderful fill her great room, which is besieged day and night by callers. This box figurine features Justine taking an afternoon nap with one of her cats on the bed. Remove the top of the bed and you will find two more cats sleeping peacefully among the blankets.
