Description: Harmony House China Round Covered Vegetable Serving Dish Mandarin Bamboo Japan For consideration is this vintage round porcelain covered vegetable serving dish made by Harmony House China in Japan. This is in their Mandarin pattern and it was made in the early 1950s. The pattern is described as pink and green bamboo leaves with a gold verge (an edge or border), and gold trim. It measures 5 inches tall with the lid in place, the bowl measures 3 inches tall and 3¾ inches tall at the handles, the mouth measures 8¼ inches in diameter and the base measures 5½ inches in diameter. The base is backstamped “Harmony House Fine China Mandarin Made In Japan”. There are no nicks, chips, cracks, repairs, scratches, discoloration or crazing noted. It is in excellent vintage condition.
