The esteemed Charles Green was founded in Birmingham, England in 1824 and over the centuries has become known for their exceptional quality, hand crafted designer jewelry. The business is still in operation today being run by the sixth generation of the Green family. In 1971, this gorgeous solid rich 22k yellow gold ring would have been the perfect Flower Power ring with its pronounced D shape band covered with beautiful, deeply carved light catching roses which are packed together all around the band creating a very cheerful and happy floral feast for the eyes! The ring has full English hallmarks with maker 'CG&S' for Charles Green & Son, the crown for gold, '22', the Birmingham anchor and date letter 'W' for 1971. The ring tests for 22k gold. The ring is just over a size 5. The band is about 6.1mm wide. The ring rises approximately 1.5mm above the finger and weighs approximately 6.7 grams.
