Handwoven on a traditional loom featuring rich colors that are obtained from natural dyes. A dazzling Zapotec diamond when viewed from left to right, each step in the diamond symbolizes a different stage of life beginning with conception. The steps reach a zenith, which is followed by a decrease in energy as life continues into the other world, the world of souls, until rebirth.
