Description: This is a very nice handmade wood stash box, trinket box, storage box, keepsake box, sewing box, or whatever you want to use it for as it has a multitude of uses. this was made by a wood worker from Washington State, made out of a Washington maple tree. The back did not get a shellac finish. On some of the boxes he leaves the back panel unfinished. I believe its so it doesnt mess with the hinge, but Im not 100% sure on that. Each box is a ONE OF A KIND SIGNED and INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED. No two boxes are the same. these were made by an older gentleman, they are not perfect like you would get from a machine or template. He uses hand tools only and doesnt use any kind of hardware except for the hinge on the back. On some I believe he uses a dove tail method, but please see the photos as each one will be different. if you have any questions, let me know, and I will do my best to get them answered. I DONT use stock photos, you will receive the EXACT item pictured. Comes from a Non-Smoking Household! Im not an expert by any means. My definition of great or good condition could vary from someone else. All the detail I have is from my experience of being a mom, or what I could find by doing a quick Google search.
