Description: Handmade Dark Red Sheer Embroidered Saree/SariFresh from a Dallas estate comes this incredible, one of a kind, special occasion, handmade Saree. The design of this Sari is nearly 6 yards of sheer dark red or maroon chiffon fabric set with all over foliage embroidery of gold, blue, orange, and green. This may be Zari work and we believe it is considered the Banarasi style, but we cannot be certain. The entire Saree is 5 yards & 29" long (or 209") by 45.5" wide (or 1 yard & 9.5"). The Pallu is 73" long (or 2 yards & 1"). The bottom of skirt has 13" of undecorated hem before the embroidery work begins. The embroidery work is 3" wide around the border. The Sari is in excellent vintage condition! There are a couple of light thread pulls, and 2 noticeable stains on skirt before pallu begins. There is a light musty odor. The stains and odor may come out with cleaning, but we have not tried. Sold AS-IS. Review all photos for better condition details. Please ask questions prior to bidding.
