Description: Made in Montana-USA Handmade leather combination fly rod/reel case.Made from walnut colored premium quality USA tanned bridle leather,sewn with heavy nylon thread,solid brass(not plated) hardware.Removeable PVC insert makes for a nearly crush proof construction.Rod case is 24 inches long ,2 1/8 in dia(inside) and the shoulder strap shortens to double as a hand carry strap.NOTE-These cases are not to be confused with cheaper cases made from thin leather glued to some sort of tubing.These cases are made from heavy 10-12 oz leather,formed into a perfect tube then sewed lengthwise with heavy nylon thread. The end caps are then sewn on,not just glued, to the main tube.This means that the case will maintain its integrity- even if it gets wet,cut,scratched ,scuffed , or otherwise banged around,the leather won't bubble or peel away from the tube.COMPARE BEFORE YOU BUY!
