Description: A beautiful complementary set of handmade ceramic vase and plate. They are Greek museum copy of 500 BC Classic Period design with detailed painting. The vase is 5.5" tall with a double handle and has the original hang tag and the scene is a woman playing a musical instrument (lute?). The plate is 9.25" diameter with a scene of Auletris the flute player. They both have tan background with a dark brown/black edge and have the Greek Key design. Both are marked on the base and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Have been stored since purchase in Athens around 2005 and never displayed/used.
