Description: This handcrafted rustic metal wall art depicts a man in a hat riding a bicycle very fast. The man and bicycle are very primitive in style. The medium-sized piece measures 9 1/2 inches in height and 6 3/4 inches in width. The brown color and handcrafted detailing give it a unique and authentic feel, while the transportation and people themes add a touch of personality. During my investigation of this piece I came upon several pieces of wall art made in Haiti I did not find this exact piece but the clothing and hair and other features in this piece are found in the Haiti sculptures by the artist Cheriban Jean Yourdly. The artist recycles old iron oil drums in his workshop to create wall sculptures by hand. He also has several artists working with him in his workshop. This piece may be one of the artists working with him as it is marked EUGENE J on the front. This is nice piece and is a good use of old oil drums to make new art.
