Description: Presumably, these clave date to the 1990's. They were purchased by my late brother, and as far as I know were not used very much. I think they were mainly a curiosity for him. Or maybe he used them for some purpose while teaching physics. He was a Physics professor at a state university and liked to use all kinds of objects for his lessons. These clave are each 10" long and about 1 1/4" in diameter. It says that they were handcrafted in Thailand. They appear to be made from hardwood mahogany. Pretty nice! On occasion I have picked up these clave and enjoyed the pleasant resonant sound they make together. Good for the soul!
