Description: Hand-made mid-century modern (style?) vase with metallic brown glaze on light tan unglazed pottery. The design features a circular bowl atop a slightly tapered base with incised designs. There are imprinted dots, a band of rectangles, and towards the bottom, horizontal bands with brush marks that make it look almost like twine or rope. There is no potter's mark to be found but it is hand-thrown. It is possibly vintage, as there is crazing on the metallic glaze, but that glaze also does not seem to be correct for mid-century modern pieces. Everything else about it seems to resonate with mid-century modern design. Dimensions: 6" diameter x 6-7/8" tall. 33.3 oz.
