Description: This auction is for a vintage unused knife (possibly wakizashi) Model SKTA1 hand made by Saburo Japan. The other side of the blade reads Taisho with a dragon. The knife is better than full-tang, the blade is actually a little wider and longer than the wood handle, I would describe as a short sword. The knife has not been used, so I checked new although it is a vintage knife. The knife shows a few very minor scuffs from shelf wear. The sheath is not original, it is a very nice leather sheath by Ontario (who makes a lot of knives for the military). Overall length is just over 11 inches. Nicely made, very strong design, feels good in the hand. Original sharp edge and point. I purchased from a dealer who bought it new and he stated that the knife is unused.
