Description: Up for sale is a gorgeous hand colored print entitled "Emigrants Crossing the Plains" from 1872. This comes from the Appleton publication "Picturesque America." Engraving was done by H.B. Hall after a painting by F.O.C Darley. It measures approximately 9 x 12 and will look great framed. In general in very nice condition with light/moderate browning around boarders from age and small tear in the bottom boarder area that does not reach the print.
