Neat mask has a reed weaved wrapping on back edge of mask. Measures approx. 13 inches high & 7 inches wide and weighs 2 pounds. Just right for a display piece. We just dropped this to far under our sales of similar masks we sold ($150-$185) to clear inventory.This is a much rarer smaller, almost child size mask. You do not see them often. It does have eye slots. Please note the last photo in the gallery is of other items from collector's estate that we acquired this from this mask from. It is to show the quality of other items in the collection and those are not included in this sale.Mask is in good to very condition with no major defects of note. A few places in the reed weaving have cracked but it has little effect on the appeal of the mask. We took multiple pictures for your consideration. We only gently dusted it off, so you may wish to clean. It had a bit of a musty odor, as if it had been hanging or stored somewhere for a very long time.Was bought form a large collection of antique & vintage African tribal artwork, sculptures, statues and masks. The identification of the mask is based on it's comparison to sold items most similar to it one on eBay, Museum Display's & various other online resources. A very similar mask without the reed wrap sold for $295 on eBay a while back.We encourage all buyers to do their own research on any vintage item, collectible, artifact or other.
