Vol 1: Drop stain (coffee?) to front corner, inch square area. Does not bleed to text. Title page is loose. Hinge strong, but spine fold leather deteriorating, and cover will soon detach. Vol II: Bumped corner with leather missing in corner area. Cover more strongly attached on this one, with less deteriorating to the fold. Chips missing to the leather at spine. Vol III: Fold line at spine deteriorating, chipping at spine near head, with piece missing at spine head. Tear at spine fold bottom about 1 inch upward. Vol IV: Tearing to the spine cover, starting at tail, fold line, about 2 inches up. Drop stain there as well. Chip of the leather missing at head, corners. Rubbed.
