Description: This 2014 release features performances by the Jaguar Pride High School Marching Band from Blue Springs, Missouri. This disc is in very good condition and plays perfectly, with the following write-up on back: The 2014 Jaguar Pride Marching Season can be summed up in one word "INCREDIBLE!" The band embarked on a new journey by attending a Bands of America Festival in Dayton, OH and returned to the Mizzou Champion of Champions festival with its show "H2Overture." For the second time in school history and the first time since 2007 the Jaguar Pride attended a Bands of America Festival. The Jaguar Pride rolled into Dayton, OH for the Regional and left with yet another first in school history, THE FIRST FINALS APPEARANCE AT A BANDS OF AMERICA REGIONAL. The band placed 7th in finals at the Dayton Regional. The accomplishment was due to a very memorable Finals performance that left students, parents and staff with tears of joy and smiles of elation following the finals performance. It was a fantastic achievement for the Jaguar Pride and a standard that will be challenging for future editions of the Jaguar Pride to try to repeat. The Jaguar Pride also earned Grand Champions at the Mizzou Champion of Champions festival for the 4th time in 5 years (the band didn't compete at the festival in 2013). The band also finished with its highest placement ever at the Golden Regiment invitational, finishing 2nd place overall in finals. The Jaguar Pride also finished its season with a 2nd place finish at the UCM Festival of Champions. The 2014 season boasted several achievement awards as well. The Jaguar Pride won 1st place in percussion at the Golden Regiment Invitational, the Festival of Champions and 3rd place at the Festival of Champions. The guard won 1st place in auxiliary at the Festival of Champions. The Jaguar Pride won "outstanding music" at the Golden Regiment Invitational finals and the drum majors won Outstanding Drum Majors at the Golden Regiment Invitational and the Festival of Champions. H2Overture set a new standard for the Jaguar Pride in all areas of the marching band.
