Description: British Army 1950's Issue Gurkha Kukri Fighting Knife. The 11in blade has surface rust some chips on the edge. The black wood handle is loose and has twists slightly on the tang. Metal furniture. The leather covered wooden scabbard is heavily worn with metal furnishing on the tip. The heavy duty leather frog has two belt loops with metal studs and leather slide keepers. The leather securing lace on the frog has been replaced with a shoelace. This Kukri was used during the Malayan Emergency and brought back as a souvenir by the seller's father who served in 17th Gurkha Division during that conflict.
