Description: Vintage 1970s Gucci square silk scarf with a Japanese bonsai floral garden print designed by Vittorio Accornero (V.Accornero)- the designer of the iconic Gucci 'Flora' prints. The central element of the scarf is a decorated yellow ceramic bowl with a bonsai tree landscape replete with a little bridge; surrounding this scene are decorative cloisonne urns at each of the 4 corners with gorgeous exotic flowers, including quince blossoms, lilies, cherry blossoms, birds of paradise and red anthuriums. The luxe weight silk scarf measures 34" x 34" and has a baby blue border, with hand-rolled, hand-sewn hems. It is signed 'Gucci' in the upper left hand corner and and 'V. Accornero' in the lower right hand corner. A sewn label on the back says the scarf is made in Italy, and dry clean only. There are a few minor flaws, a couple small dots, in the middle of the scarf, a couple of small brownish spots and ironed crease lines where the scarf was folded. See photos. These are only seen upon close inspection. Also see photo of back side of the full scarf--the last image in the series. All told, the scarf in excellent pre-owned, vintage condition. Beautiful.
