These boots feature a 360º Goodyear welt, a CustomCork insole and rugged, yet lightweight Vibram Gumlite lug soles for good traction. These are built on the 511 last and are very similar to the Chapman boot sold by Allen Edmonds. The leather is fully leather-lined, befitting high quality boots that can handle the elements. These boots sell for $475 on Allen Edmonds website and in retail stores. These are a very nice combination of sophistication combined with toughness and these can be dressed up or down, with slacks or khakis or even jeans. For reference, I should be wearing size 8.5E in Red Wing heritage boots (Moc toes and Iron Rangers) and 9E in Wolverine 1000 Mile. I have tried to photograph these from all reasonable perspectives. This particular leather does a good job of warding off noticeable nicks and scratches but because these are pre-owned you should expect some - do closely examine each of the photos. These have been stored in a smoke-free home.
