Description: Up for sale is a set of 11 books containing information and photographs for regions in France. Published from 1955 to 1959, the books are part of the series "Les Albums des Guides Bleus" and have forwards by various authors and photographs by various photographers. All of the books appear to have been owned by a library in Lake Bluff, IL at some point in the past. I'm not a book seller, so I cannot guarantee the condition of the books. Many of them appear to have never been cracked open as the bindings are very tight, yet others appear to have been opened and the bindings have a crack down the front of the books. The book for Bretagne has writing (translations) written in pencil on some of the pages. Photographs that should come in the front of each book appear to have lost their glue and are just resting on the inside of the front cover. A nice set of used books in imperfect condition, but perfect if you want to gain knowledge of the various regions in France. Each book measures approximately 8.5 x 6.5 x .5 inches.
