Description: These are great barefoot sneakers from Groundies that still look like a casual, traditional, non-barefoot shoe. My feet slipped a bit too much in these when I tried them on inside, so I've since purchased the suede Nova model (with a slightly different sole), and those have worked well for me. This model has the GS1 Sole (if you are comparing and looking at reviews on Anya's reviews where she notes this for example). Therefore, it's a bit chunkier than the most minimal barefoot sole, but is still quite thin and flexible. All around, this would be a great shoe for someone transitioning into barefoot shoes, and the shape and styling still make it look like a traditional sneaker (very cute!). I'm ready to let these go to allow a new owner to wear and enjoy them, rather than keeping them in a corner of my closet. Thank you for looking!
