Description: Griswold #10 Plated Tite-Top dutch oven cover. Amazing vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Sits flat on a glass surface. The Duo-Chro (chrome) plating on the top surface is almost completely intact. There is a dark area that can be seen in the photos that I have not tried to polish off, so don't really know if it is removeable. The underside looks pretty typical for these plated pieces after some use. No rust or buildup. Very hard to find in this condition. It is very rare that a vintage cast iron skillet will have absolutely no movement on a glass surface. Most were not perfect coming out of the foundry. There will likely be some small amount of movement on a flat surface. If the skillet is absolutely perfect, I will definitely point that out :)
