Description: Mid-2000s Gretsch USA Custom Drum Kit with a bass drum and 2 toms. Pearl snare is pictured but does not come with kit and neither do any stands, but rims tom mounts, yes. The bass drum size is 18x22", the rack tom is 8x12", and the floor tom is 11x14". I am not the original owner. Overall, it's a player's condition kit that functions very well. That should be your expectation. That being said, each drum's bearing edges look good and each drum is structurally intact. Take this to a bar gig or your jam spot, get great sounds out of a kit that you don't need to baby or be too concerned about looks-wise. Every drum is playable and functional. I'll run through each individual drum and its condition below. Please see the photos as I took a lot of them and captured basically every panel of each drum.Bass Drum - The bass drum, considering it's a 22", is quite beefy, loves every tuning from low to high, and is perfect for all types of rock, metal, soul, jazz, and hip hop. If you're savvy at head selection and tuning, the world is your oyster. There are scratches all over the top of the drum from toms rubbing against it, mild wear on the bass drum hoops, which is pictured. Bearing edges look good and the silver sealer looks great too.Floor Tom - This 14” hanging/floor tom is as versatile as it gets when recording. Stick a clear head on it, tune it low, you can get all rock sounds. Stick a coated single ply head on this, tune it high for jazz even. It handles both situations perfectly fine. There are minor scratches and nicks on this drum, which is pictured. Bearing edges look good as far as I can see.Rack Tom - This 12" rack tom is nice, sounds focused with clear heads on it, and quite warm with coated heads on it. Great for tom shuffle grooves.
