Description: Ruth Eckerd Playhouse is a small theatre in Clearwater Florida that gets a lot of really good, name acts. One was Gregory Hines, when he was doing a solo act showcasing tap as a musical form. This is my playbill - I was there. The act was amazing. He was a truly exceptional talent. I was heartbroken not too much later when he died of cancer at 57. The playbill has some smears to the print on the back from damp. Florida is ALWAYS damp. The playbill was from September 1989.
