Below, you will find a few things to note about this sculpture. I am unsure of the material this sculpture is made of, but I believe it to be either bisque porcelin or cast marble. There were originally protective pads along the bottom of this sculpture that were glued. The pads have been removed because they were not in great shape, but unfortunately, the residue that caused them to stick is left behind. I have tried to get it off but haven't experimented much with it because I did not want to harm the statue. It may or may not come off. It could easily be covered by getting new protective padding for the bottom. The sculpture has no cracks and is structurally sound. There are one or two indentation marks on the back of the sculpture, but I believe these are part of the original design. There is a rough patch that could be a scuff on the back side towards the bottom of the base. The sculpture has a few small black spots throughout. There is also some yellowing in spots. Most of the yellowing is only noticeable if looking under a really bright light, but there is a spot on the front of the neck towards the left side that is it noticable in normal light. The yellowing may or may not come off with a little scrubbing. Please review all photos as they are an important part of the listing description. Take note that coloring of the item is most true to the first few photos as they were taken in natural light. The other photos were taken under a bright light for clarity purposes.
