Description: This handcrafted black figure pottery vase by is a tribute to ancient Greek mythology. It features Zeus and a Harpyia, one on each side, hand painted with intricate details. The vase is made of high-quality clay. When looking inside the unpainted clat looks like terracotta. There is a sticker on the bottom that indicates it was made in Greece, but also states 24K gold, which I can only attribute to the paint splashes on the vase, but I am not sure. No chips or cracks. Minor wear from age and a couple of paint flecks. Please see pictures for actual size measurements and condition.
