Great set of 12 J B Addis Prize Wood carving Chisels Gouges (223)

Buyer is responsible for taxes locally. A great set of matched vintage (late Victorian) specialist carving chisels clean , original patina , and in excellent condition. By J B Addis sons 10 are Sheffield 10 prize medals. I date these to 1890’s see images. Two gouges (on left) are rarer London gouges , first simply imprinted J B ADDIS and second is rare early S J ADDIS Gravel Lane London. Good clean condition , some historical pitting to a low number of chisels which will not affect use and is reflected in price, good mix and ready to go. Some chisels may vary slightly from this description which is general and given to the best of my knowledge and experience. Owned and loved and well cared for , sorry to see these go .
