Description: Wonderful calendar made by the Great Northern Railroad in 1932 to promote rail travel to the west, specifically, Glacier National Park in Montana. The picture is taken from a portrait of a Native American Blackfoot named "Clears Up." by Winold Reiss. Printed by Louis F. Dow Co., St. Paul. Overall the calendar measures 22" x 10". It was made to be folded in half for distribution. The upper right hand corner and the bottom right hand corner show minor wear. There is a very small speck to the left of "Clears Up" right elbow. (Please see all of my pictures.) I don't believe this calendar has ever been hung, and no pin holes from being pinned up. I gave it a condition of very good. This calendar belonged to my Mother. Her father worked for the the Great Northern, and she also lived in Montana for many years. (Will be mailed in a heavy duty Kraft mailer.)
