Description: Since it looks good (but not great) and plays terrible, Great Baseball hardly lives up to its hyperbolic title. Batter and pitcher animation is smooth, and there are a variety of features (including pitcher and pinch hitter substitution), but the fielders move super slow, bringing the action to a grinding halt whenever the ball is hit into play. Twenty-six generic teams and the addition of a Home Run Contest, which is a practice mode against 20 perfect pitches, are not enough to save the game from the minor leagues. Master System owners should play Reggie Jackson Baseball instead.
