Or, of course ... also the count of Fans that the Band ! turned on to the Band -- but, then those Fans just also had to have this G.D. Book fast ! It is just so Amazing ! - and, there's really no other way to say it. Basically, it offers a snap-shot of the Grateful Dead ! - their Music, there Fans, the Scene, you name it ... and to think this was all " Pre-1983 " !!! There's no question that the Dead scene was smaller, and more organic really - through & through from 1965-1983 ... and really through 1987. As, for better or worse ... well - then Touch of Grey came along !! Just enough to change the scene forever - as then it was soon time for Stadium Tours ! - mainly, on the Summer Tours. If you've ever seen the Grateful Dead in the ( what ? - say 80,000 + ) Giants Stadium - then, you will know where I'm coming from there. This really is a Book that should be in the household of every Dead Fan ... I mean what better to let your friends read & look at ! Book Cover is in Very Good condition overall, with some light surface wear, light creasing, and indentations (bottom left spine edge) - please see photos. Inside Pages are Like New overall, with only a few small very-light indentations present - looks almost new inside, looked at briefly maybe only a couple of times ? very-gently, if so - overall Excellent condition inside (please see photos). I am not certain which Edition this Book is, as numbers 11 through 20 are shown on Page 4 ( IV ) on the inside (please see photos). -- The Grateful Dead Book of the Deadheads 1983 Handbill also included is in Very Good condition overall, with a few light indentations - including a light corner dog-ear crease on the upper right corner (please see photos). The Handbill is on thin & smooth paper, and measures approximately Five Inches by Seven Inches ( 5" x 7" ) - and the Book itself measures approximately Eight & On-Half Inches by Eleven Inches ( 8 1/2" x 11" ).
