Description: Grand Tour bronze vase after the second century CE Roman antique marble, c. 1880, By Ferdinand Barbedienne, Paris, with an egg-and-dart rim above male masks surmounted by a vine frieze, the circular body flanked by intertwined handles, on a spreading circular fluted socle, the foot rim signed F. Barbedienne, the underside stamped REDUCTION MECANIQUE A. COLLAS BREVETE A fine example with crisp casting details and original deep brown finish. No damage or repairs.
