Description: Grado Prestige Series headphones, model SR325e, in excellent and fully functional condition. I am the sole owner, purchased new directly from Grado, used lightly at the office for a few months before going full remote, haven't found a use for them at home since and it's been a few years now and there's plenty of other ear candy around here so I'd rather have the cash. Kept in sealed storage containers, shelved at room temp and proper humidity, not knocked around, house is smoke free, etc., they've been stored well and would ship well-packed. I do love these headphones (and the Grado story), they are a signature sound you don't get with any other brand. I learned quickly about the ear comfort issue with extending listening sessions and how the cable is obnoxious. In my opinion, those wearability issues really do make it impossible to enjoy the audio quality. I followed a forum suggestion to check out a guy in New Zealand running Beautiful Audio as he makes all sorts of Grado upgrades. Looks like he's still around. I'm not affiliated with them or anything, just don't know how widely his brand is known so I would want you to be able to research and know what you're getting. I got the padded leather earpads ($125) and headband ($70), the adapter kit that replaced the original cable with a set of 3.5mm jacks on each ear so you can use a cable of your choice ($85), and the little red/black rubber tip set that makes it easier to see which side is R and L they included for free. HUGE difference and completely wearable now, no detectable change whatsoever in the signature sound. Included in the listing are the cable I purchased and the original Grado ear pads.
