Description: Gorman Rupp # 14251-001-X-116 BEL O JUST Bellows Metering Pump The Gorman Rupp Industries (GRI) model # 14251-001-X-116 is a Bellows Metering Pump and Motor unit, BEL O JUST series, with 1-1/2 inch Viton/FKM bellows and o-rings, coupled to a 39 RPM, 115 Volt Motor. These pumps have a dry run capability, are self-priming, have no dynamic seals, are corrosion resistant, and have long, maintenance-free operation. The motors are UL recognized and continuous duty rated with a minimum life expectancy of 2000 hours. The standard motor is an open, shaded pole gearmotor. Perpetual running of motor is not recommended. These metering pumps operate on a positive displacement principle, and are designed to displace both corrosive and noncorrosive fluids. Accurate to plus/minus 0.5 percent from stroke to stroke, when pump is set 50 percent to 100 percent of full stroke. Discharge pressure is maintained over the entire flow range of the pump. Poppet valves are used to prevent back flow; and springs are available to provide a positive shutoff, preventing siphoning through the pump in applications where a positive suction head exists. The flow rate of all bellows pumps can be adjusted by modifying the length of the discharge stroke. Adjustments can be made down to 10 percent of full stroke. The flow rate can be adjusted while the pump is operating. A knob regulates drive arm motion which modifies the stroke length of the bellows module. Note: Best priming and metering accuracy occurs when the stroke length is 50 percent or greater. The maximum temperature for this pump is 140 F.
