Gorgeous Vintage Sweet MAGNOLIA BLOSSOM Needlepoint

Description: This beautiful needlework features a single Magnolia bloom and leaves displayed in a small pink vase, sitting on a fringed, embroidered mat. The color palette includes shades of green ranging from deep forest to a pale aqua, shades of peach and pink, a gold center and ivory and gray accents. Although it isn't signed or dated and I have no way of knowing the exact age, I would estimate the 1990's, based on the style and color scheme. The framed picture measures about 16 1/4 inches in height and is approximately 17 3/4 inches wide (framed), so it's a nice medium-sized needlepoint piece. It has a triple mat; the wider outer mat is a beautiful aqua green with rose pink and forest green inner mats. The framer's label "Frame & Stain Shoppe" in Williamsville, New York is still intact. The frame is solid wood, with an antiqued gold lacquered paint. The picture was meticulously stitched and much care and expense put into the high quality frame - it is just perfect. The completed picture is in great vintage condition. The frame has some very minor scuffs from wear, consistent with age. The mats are in great condition with no fading, stains, spots or holes. The needlework picture is in wonderful condition - no fading, stains, or holes. There are some small puncture marks in the picture's paper backing - doesn't effect the picture at all. The glass has no cracks or chips and is solidly mounted in the frame. The hanging wire is well-secured and very substantial, and there should be no problems in terms of providing support for the piece when it hangs. See photos for more details.
