Description: Offering a vintage 1940's style RCA 74B Clone Ribbon Microphone with matching RCA style desk stand. It's in a similar build to the classic 74B Ribbon Microphone, by half the price of the real one. We have taken a discontinued Heil Classic shell (which is proportionately and style-wise nearly identical to the RCA 74B, all metal, no plastic), removed the original dynamic element and installed a new modern high-quality RIBBON DRIVE. (Figure-8 polar pattern with 1.8-micron, 2" long aluminum ribbon with powerful neodymium magnets, plus high quality 1:36 transformer.) The result...an accurate and respectable recreation of RCA's famous 74B, and one that has wonderful studio fidelity with rich lows and realistic mics/highs. The physical condition of the microphone is flawless with highly-polished chrome upper section and metal bottom casing with reproduced metal RCA badge. The mic head is mounted to a chromed ball-joint pivot and threaded to the matching RCA style desk stand. The mic is hardwired to an 8' cable with male XLR plug. ** Audio sample can be heard on the listing video **. Always safe secure packaging and fast fair shipping. We offer combined shipping. ** WE BUY YOUR OLD MICROPHONES...INVENTORY UPDATED REGULARLY **** Click on my eBay username for details. (Text or call.)
