On the bottom is stamped - #627 .925 Sterling Denmark Both the base and lid have hallmarks indicating they were imported to Sweeden. Attributed to Georg Jensen as it matches his design 627 pattern but does not have his hallmarks. Lid twists off and is held in place by tabs that fall into a notched channel- great simple design. Wonderfully designed top reminds me of classic Greek architecture like the dome on the Pantheon. Please look at the photos carefully, and ask for more photos if you need them.
