Description: BEAUTIFUL antique art deco Italian designer, ORNATE .800 silver carnelian filigree lavaliere style necklace. This stunning necklace is in very good antique condition. The chain portion to the drop is just over 19” long. The drop is 2 3/4” total length with a 2 1/8” long by 1 1/8” pendant portion. The filigree detail on this necklace is truly lovely…..very feminine. The carnelian stone has very nice color and is firmly bezel set in this elegant setting. The chain is a fine rope chain and it is finished with a spring ring clasp. The pendant is stamped “Italy” and “.800” for the silver content. .800 silver was and is, commonly used in Italy, Germany and other European companies for fine jewelry. This necklace tests very close to sterling silver via the acid test.
