Description: Extraordinary vintage tartan plaid taffeta High-waisted floor-length gathered skirt! This was purchased at an epic estate sale by a woman who clearly was a talented seamstress. It appears to have never been worn due to its unfinished bottom hemline and no button or hook enclosure at the waist. Perfect opportunity to customize the waist and length to your liking! It does have a finished matching green metal zipper up the back. This was clearly handmade with no tag to indicate the material, but it looks and feels like a taffeta silk fabric due to its thin crisp paper-like finish. This gem features a classic shimmering tartan-style plaid made up of red, green, gold, and purple and it is absolutely gorgeous! In great vintage condition with no surface wear that I can see.
