Description: Here for sale is a vintage and original first edition of the Ian Fleming James Bond novel, Goldfinger published by Jonathan Cape in 1965. The book is in very good condition, considering it is an ex-library copy. Still being still compact and square. The covers are hidden as the original dust jacket has been stuck on. They have retained their colour, but do have some minor shelf wear to the extremities and bumps to the end. The spine is also looking great and square with the woodgrain, titles and logo still prominent. Inside, the book is generally clean with white pages. With the usual library markings found in these copies. Pen marks on the FEP, with the remnants of the insert and a stamp to the title page. There is also some slight browning to the text block edge. Overall, not bad for a book that is nearly 50 years old! Please do check photos for exact condition. So an unique opportunity to own a first edition Jonathan Cape copy with its original jacket.
