Description: CALCITE from Fanwood Quarry (Weldon Quarry), Watchung, Somerset Co., New Jersey Here is a mineral specimen of blocky, cubic calcite from an uncommon mine in New Jersey. It has a nice golden honey yellow color. Some minor chipping present but still a unique one. Displays well with light shined on it. These are a little bit uncommon and are fun calcite specimens.
