Description: I bought a lot of three 1950s Goerz Apo Artar's maybe 15 years ago. These were single coated in brass barrels, serial numbers in the 76x,xxx to 77x,xxx range as I remember. The lenses are long gone but I just found two of the original front caps. This is for the 35" Apo Artar. Inside diameter is 106.2 mm, OD 110.5 mm, height 31.7 mm. This slipped on that barrel and stayed on snugly (important as this lens was approximately the same price as a car at the time). No guarantee that this will fit earlier brass-barrelled versions, or the later aluminum barrel ones either. The original green felt lining is missing (see my other listing to see what the felt looked like -- easy to re-create). Weight is about 5 oz.
