Description: HUM 449 The Little Pair - TMK-7 Height 5.375" Tall This figurine was first modeled by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1984. It has an incised 1985 copyright date along with the TMK-7 trademark. The copyright year "1985" is also applied by blue decal centered underneath the trademark. Announced in 1990, "The Little Pair" was an Exclusive Edition available to "M.I. Hummel Club" members only, who have belonged to the club continuously for 10 years. It was issued by means of a redemption card to those who were eligible. Hummel bears the inscription "EXCLUSIVE EDITION 10 Jahre Mitgliedschaft Ten-Year Membership M.I. HUMMEL CLUB " in addition to a black and yellow flying bumble bee in a half circle. The original issue price was $170. This is a closed exclusive edition. Has special backstamp which states "EXCLUSIVE EDITION 10 Jahre Mitgliedschaft Ten-Year Membership M.I. HUMMEL CLUB " inside of a half circle, accompanied with a black and yellow flying bumble bee. Oversized: Hummel stands at about 5.375" tall, which is one eighth of an inch taller than the largest height listed in the catalogs' 5"-5.25" height range. Figurine has factory applied "Bruderlein und Schwesterlein The Little Pair" name sticker on rear side of base. Master Painter Hand-signed signature in black on underside of base, located to the right of the bumblebee. Hummel was Only Available to Club Members with a continuous membership for ten years!
