HUM 745 Little Sweeper - TMK-6 - Three Plates Available For Sale, Sold Separately. Diameter 4" This series was first issued in 1988 as a four part bisque-porcelain "M.I. Hummel" miniature plate series called the "Little Homemakers." Each is a limited production plate that was produced for one year only. Modeled by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1986. A matching figurine was released each year as an open edition to coincide with each plate. The original issue price was $45 in 1988, $50 for the 1989 and the 1990 plate and $70 in 1991. The year "1986" is centered underneath trademark. Stamped "FIRST EDITION IN A SERIES OF FOUR HANDPAINTED NOT TO BE USED FOR FOOD Hum 745 The M.I. Hummel "LITTLE HOMEMAKERS" 1988-1991" in blue on backside of plate. Hummel plate matches the catalog's listed circumference of 4". Master Painter Hand-signed signature in black on backside of plate, located to the right of TMK-6 stamp. Comes in original box with inner cardboard holder.
